<No Regrets> Popular Cast, but not a Popular Drama.
Last week's ratings didn't have any breakouts. Before airing, <No Regrets> has a popular cast, but isn't a popular drama. The main male and female character, even the supporting characters are busy all the time, but the ratings doesn't meet what the high expectations they had.
Last weeks average ratings raised a bit, at only 32points. There was approximately 2,040,000people watching, and the highest peak was 35points with around 2,230,000people watching. Another drama <Gun Metal Grey> first week averaged about 30points, with about 1,910,000people watching, believing Michael Miu and Felix Wong receiving an explanation.

Ok seriously, this news really saddened me !
I don't know if there's any GMG supporters around here but here goes the ranting !!! You be warned !
Just a while ago people were all going gaga for its premier ( ok I was amongst them actually ^-^" ... aka Felix's comeback series and hey let's face it, I was born in the 80s WE all gotta love Felix !! ^-^ ). I saw it. Tried to liked it and all I was able to do was rolling my eyes, tapping my fingers in desparation and asking myself as to why I still haven't click on the stop button yet !!!
Good point:
FELIX !!! If I were to continue this series, It would be because of him and him only !!!!
Bad points:
Just everything else !!!
Starting from the theme song to the ending credit. while the song is alright. just what with the themesong visual ??? amateur editing and near absent of soundtrack. Let's not talk about chemistry here between characters . Close to nada for me. decor scene, outfit, haircut and accessories, ... about everything is crying " Hey this is my first time directing ok? please bare with me ! " plotwise, storywise, it just so unconvincing to me. I don't know who wrote the script but damn !! The visual is bugging me like no end. I just can't undertand how this is a 2010 production, why people are saying how good it is but can NOT say why they like it so much either ??? It pains me to see Felix's part of it seriously. He worths so much more. If his character is somewhat good written, ( plotwise ) everything can be flushed down without regrets ( pun intended ).
Am I asking for too much ? Did I expected too much from this ? No ! I just wanted to see Felix again ! That's all! but for me, he's the one whose struggling to save this (beep) out of water ! Michael pfff .... His comeback few years ago was a mess in my opinion. And what's happenening to Jess ?? My beloved Jess !! Why are you part of this production ???? arg ... I'm mad !!!!
I can't blame others fans for enjoying it. I try to tell myself that I just failed to appreciate the beauty they can see. Still it just pisses me off for it being linked to my favorite shows to date after few years of abandonning the TVB wagon.
To say CBML is a competitor to No Regrets that I can comprehend, but to say that GMG is too, it's plainly an insult !!!
Call me biased, blinded whatever ... I just can't see how Gun Metal Grey can be compared to No Regrets at all.
In all plans, levels, points, ... uncomparable !!!!
This news just colored my face again and I highly doubt the color suits me ... Again, life is life.
End of ranting.

It also saddened me to see this news, because to be honest I tried watching GMG. It just didn't get to me either... It wasn't as interesting as everyone said it would be and I just didn't want to watch it. I was so bored, I was studying instead of watching it, and I just couldn't continue. I would rather think that Can't Buy Me love would be a tvb grand production in place of GMG, cause it was alot better. I also was trying to watch this production because of Jessica. She was one of my favourite actresses, and was really happy to see her take part in another TVB drama, but it ends up as a fail again...
In my opinion, I don't think GMG is really a competitor to No Regrets. Because it's really between CBML and No Regrets.
