From being TV Queen and TV King to the anniversary series <No Regrets> has set off a "wave of burning drama." Wayne Lai also claimed that this is his best production in the past 20years. Besides having the golden pairing Cheung Wah Biu and Lee Tim Shing, Wayne also said that Sheren in the series shows real love, able to touch people's heart. Filming for the 4months, Wayne was indulged into a heavy character and said, "I am not able to pull myself away!"


<No Regrets> is about story in the 30s in Guangzhao. Wayne portrays a police captain of criminal investigation called "Lau Sing". Wayne says that his character is an ordinary human with no big difference in personality. The character is not difficult, and position is not too difficult but his experience is really complex. How to experience the feelings in the changing times? You need to investigate into his growing process, which is hard. We aren't people from the 30s, and have no experiences in that time period. So what happened in that time? we need to find the truth. I am a really consciousness person, having the Chinese blood. Chinese history and background is familiar, and I have always watched documentarys. I have the national feelings, and it is natural!



The series is already mencing before airing! Wayne said that if it isn't good, you can get a refund! Besides having full confidence in the production, the artistes did really well. Everyone was really focused into the series, and professional making Wayne touched. "Everyone filmed it like it was their representing work." Besides giving the drama a different feel, the average is added with more drift, making it hard to be his best production in the past 20years.

In the drama, not only do the male and female artistes have to do well, it needs other people to collaborate, and giving their best effort. "Me and Sheren in the drama have a really subtle relationship, not like the old-fashioned loved. It is not the loving quarrelsomes, and cannot be explained easily. In every episode, are relationship is really different, because Lau Sing and Gau Goo Leung's love is facing changing influences in time. There are alot of impacts, not just with one word of "I love you, you love me". This relationship is flooded with deep and intriguing experiences, and needs the viewers to slowly recognize. This is also a valuable fact of the drama." Before the drama aired, Wayne believed that this relationship will touch the audience's hearts. Because it was written really real, that's why it is a must watch. Some relationships may be good and simple, simply dating, marriage and after having kids. But real relationships have many ups and downs, with real feelings. In the beginning, Lau Sing and Gau Goo Leung have some distance, then the two of them talked about inside feelings at the church. They are both supporting each other, with feelings inisde. The most memorable scene was in the end because the war was approaching, and we decided to leave Guangzhao together. It is not the simple love, it is relationship in their mind."
